M. Korte Oy will transfer the manufacture, sale, and marketing of TAV coupling equipment to its subsidiary TAV Finland Oy as of January 1, 2026. M. Korte Oy will continue to operate as the parent company of the group.
The decision is based on a desire to raise the profile of the strong Finnish TAV brand, which is popular among transport companies. In the export market in particular, it is important that the company and the product it sells are easily associated with each other.
The coupling equipment business will continue as usual under TAV Finland Oy.TAV’s coupling equipment will continue to be a reliable, high-quality key product, manufactured by a Finnish family business.
“For customers, nothing will really change except the billing information. The same familiar contact persons will continue to serve customers, and all phone numbers and email addresses will remain the same,” says Tapio Korpinen, CEO of M. Korte Oy and TAV Finland Oy.
