In challenging transport operations, reliability is critical. The TAV50D-V3 has been developed for HCT combinations and demanding operating environments.
Testing has demonstrated reliable performance with dollies fitted with a 50 mm drawbar eye, centre-axle trailers and trailers equipped with an articulated drawbar.
Durability improvements have focused on the areas subjected to the highest loads. The redesigned vertical load support is engineered to withstand demanding operating conditions without risk of deformation or excessive structural stress. In practice, this means longer service life, fewer maintenance interruptions and more time on the road.
Driving stability has also been improved through structural enhancements. Enlarged support surfaces distribute loads more evenly, while a new and more durable rubber material contributes to longer component life. The result is a more stable driving experience, particularly on uneven road surfaces. When the load remains under control, the driver benefits from a smoother and more predictable journey.
The mounting shaft has also been reinforced to withstand higher pulling and bending forces. Tight tolerances help minimise loosening, improve safety and reduce wear during heavy-duty operation. Tilting stiffness has been further optimised by redesigning the support surface of the inner rubber element, increasing the distance between the rubber elements and raising the height of the outer rubber element. Every improvement has been developed specifically for demanding professional use.
